Blessed by Gen Rinpoche Yeshe Thabkhe’s Teaching on Recognizing My Mother

This past April, through the Khalkha Jetsun Dampa Initiative, I had the blessed opportunity to coordinate a precious teaching by the illustrious Gen Rinpoche Yeshe Thabkhe. A rare and radiant master of the sacred Ear-Whispered Lineage of Je Tsongkhapa, Gen Rinpoche holds a special connection to our community as one of Khandro-la’s first teachers.

He bestowed the transmission and commentary on Recognizing My Mother – The Melody of an Echo by Changkya Rolpai Dorje, a profound text that beautifully expresses Tsongkhapa’s view of emptiness as a song of direct realization.

We are deeply grateful to Gen Rinpoche for his generous time and blessings. The Khalkha Jetsun Dampa Initiative is devoted to preserving the mystical teachings of Je Tsongkhapa, and inviting rare masters like Gen Rinpoche is central to that vision.

At the close of the teachings, Khandro-la offered a symbolic long-life offering and khata on behalf of our community. Gen Rinpoche expressed joy in Khandro-la’s dedication and encouraged us all to continue deepening our study and practice.

Together with Dakini’s Whisper, we aspire to continue hosting such precious transmissions—for the benefit of this and future generations.
