What Is This Initiative About?
The 9th Jetsun Dampa Initiative aims to disseminate and preserve the 9th Khalkha Jetsun Dampa’s lineage teachings, memories and historical information of him, and preserve associated landmarks. The "Initiative" is founded by Choying Khandro and Cameron Gehlert with the support of the Advisory Committee.
What We Do
Nyengyu Text Project: A major project to oversee the translation and study of all the texts and sadhanas that the Jetsun Dampa taught from.
Nyengyu Interviews: An oral history initiative to help preserve memories and teachings related to the Ganden and Dakini lineages by interviewing scholars and teachers of this tradition.
Other Projects: Produce multi-media and booklets detailing the lineage and practice instructions of Khalkha Rinpoche such as the proper making of Chod Damarus.
